Being a relatively new user of 3DS, there are plenty of things I've yet to learn. One of these things is how to animate the star field generated by the STAR_.IXP. If anyone could enlighten me on this it would be much appreciated.

Great job on the Voyager model. I love the shot where it is flying over the astriod belt and you can see its' reflection. Is Metaform is a subset of lightwave? Can you produce similar results using the smooth utility that shipped with Bones Pro?
