Arnold, The Miro BBs number is 415-855-9944. To check your current version go to your contl panel, open drivers click Miro M-JPEG, then setup. It should tell yo what version you have. John

Marc, To print to video you must hit ALT-TAB to bring up your task manager, select the miro display option then select PRINT TO VIDEO and LOOP THROUGH (if you wish) This enables the output. I had the same confusion about mine but finally figured it out. Good Luck, John

The video quality does pixalate. The m-jpeg compression scheme uses interpolation to achieve full screen. but I've used others and this is the best so far. John

On second thought zach, not that scandisk is bad, it might be that Renderize is attempting to access an area of memory that is already occupied by another application. I would maybe reinstall Renderize and Reduce my Swap file ( this helped me get going) Or do what I did…

Zachary, Have you tried scandisk? It sounds like you have a corrupted sector on your hard drive, Scandisk can determine this for you and in some cases fix it. Good Luck, John Dolan

Rixon, You have to have a sound card to capture the audio portion, but, the files are saved together. When you load a clip into Premiere, for example, the audio also loads. John

You might want to try the latest drivers that were uploaded to Miro's U.S. BBS on Dec. 21st. Their Number is 415-855-9944. I have not experienced the flicker problem YET!

I purchased my DC1 at CDW for 549.00. Next week I start to use it for some serious work. I'll keep you posted. It is a pain to get it up and running as far as installation goes, but, my tests on it so far have been great.
