#195261 Off-Line Navigators Message #195291
Mike, >> but I'd switch in a minute if anyone could tell me of a program that would allow me to transparently (i.e. one button) load message threads into a Word document (for saving).
Peter, As I recall, objects that are hidden in the 3D Editor will not be visible with the 3D display in either the Shaper or Lofter. You might want to verify that those objects that don't display are unhidden (maybe even unfrozen, I don't recall) in the 3D Editor and…

Yup, that sounds even better.
#181783 Flashing Lights Message #181833
I've done a similar effect by making a small flic (100X100 I think) 60 frames long (or however long the period of the light is), the first half of the frames were pure white and the last half were pure black. Then I used this flic as a Self Illumination…
#172366 VP problem Message #172836
David, >> Yup! I've had that same thing happen before though. I have no idea why it does it though. Maybe I'll try and spend some time seeing if I can nail it down. So how are things in the big time? I'm sure great, it seems like you're involved…
Thanks for the info Lee, Ted, and Bob. It's actually not for me. A friend moved back to Londonderry and asked if I could find out for him. He's separated from his computer for the moment and couldn't ask the question himself. I'll forward him the info.
Does anyone know of a 3DS users group in or near Nashua or Manchester, New Hampshire? Or who I could contact to locate one?

Mike, >> When I look at an animation in the Keyframer, I see the meshes doing the right thing. However, when I use GetVerts and InterpolateKey to write out the multi-frame ascii file, I see something quite different (sometimes). The Keyframe scripter is not "what you see is what you…

Greg, >> Just start the driver with "PARDRV -B:1800" or so to create a buffer large enough for the alpha.
John, >> I got this same error message when I accidentally left render alpha on during a work session yesterday.

#InterpolateKey? Message #160035
From: Alden V. Holmes Autodesk Multimedia Forum · Scripts March 21, 1995 2:03 PM
Can someone familiar with the InterpolateKey command in Keyscripting help explain something for me? Because of some incorrect results I was getting with InterpolateKey (relative to what I thought I would get), I've been trying to figure out exactly what it does. I created a dummy object at 0,0,0 with…
#159234 #Material fade Message #159280
You can also try the vary.sxp as an opacity map. I've used it when I've needed only certain materials to fade out before. See page 82 of the "Advanced Users Guide" for a brief explanation. Morphing materials is probably easier, but vary has it's applications.
