#188157 #IPAS U DON'T need! Message #188329
I think there was something I heard about in the Constitution called freedom of choice. But then again, US History was never my specialty. I look at it this way, its a free society/market. If you personally think an IPAS is useless, dont buy it. If you find it is…

Same here. Metrolight got a copy in on Friday, and I have been spending most of my time tinkering with it. It is really an exciting piece of software. Christopher Ryan Metrolight Studios
#187732 #Key Factory 1.81 Message #187749
I just spoke with Schreiber and they told me that the manuals just went to the press. They must of had a few limited pre-press versions available, if some people got them. They put my name on a list and said I would get the manual as soon as it…
#187656 #Key Factory Message #187688
I have used keyfactory, for a period of time quit extensively, and I am always up for a good challenge. I have not used DMM, but I am seriously interested in seeing which is the better software. If someone, who is neutral, has the time to come up with a…

From: Kurt McKeever Autodesk Multimedia Forum · IPAS Usage August 28, 1995 1:43 PM
I agree with you. I downloaded the DMM demo and took the same file and applied Keyfactory to it. I agree that I found that the motions to be more realistic in Keyfactory. Unfortunately we do not know all the facts (ie: what the parameters for their software we set…

That sounds like it would be a good idea for 3D Studio MAX. And probably a simple work into the software since it will be Windows NT based. (Sorry if I changed your idea a bit). Christopher Ryan Metrolight Studios
#185730 #Motion Capture Message #185866
Metrolight was using the Superflou (sp?) system, out if Italy, which uses infrared camera data, we found that the capturing technique was good, but the main problem was the software that processed the motion data. It became a really slow and tedious process. For some reason, the software had problems…

I guess I had to start sometime. Anyways 4D/Schreiber is working on it for me. In the mean time I have come up with a somewhat work around. Christopher Ryan Metrolight Tech

Currently I am using it on a jointed mesh, which is what this project required. But, I have tested Puppeteer on a seamless mesh in conjunction with Bones Pro. Puppeteer has a function call PUPPET MESH, which basically creates bones matching the puppet you have created, which will match your…

I have been using Puppeteer here at Metrolight for the last 3 weeks. I cannot say I have used it so much for IK use, but for motion capture I have found that it works quite well. I have run into a few snags along the way, and with the…
John, PMJI. I just noticed you mentioned the NICE board. I haven't been able to solve what I thought was an easy problem. I have the NICE SUPER EISA with 256MB. I've talked to MS, QUARTERDECK, …ETC. The CMOS message says 64MB and ADDITIONAL 192MB AVAILABLE. Dos and qemm only…

Pricing Message #43068
I downloaded the TOOTHB.ZIP picture the other day and was curious as to what somebody would charge ($$$) for an image like that to be created (single frame or multiple)? Thank You.

You need to have QEMM or some type of ext/exp memory manager to run AAPro.
