If the connection is good, it is most likley working. The problem with the AG-750 and AG-800 edit contolers is that they trigger the GPI at the preroll point (which is at 3,5, or 7 seconds before the edit depending on the setting on the AG-750 you chose). So basicly…

Correct in two difrent ways. First of all out of PhotoShop you can now save IFF24 images, or any Pict2. writ that onto a IBM formated High Density Floppy, using AFE or equivilant. Bring that into the A4000 Toaster, (make sure the cross dos PC0: is in your Devs drawer,…

From: Forrest McKinney Amiga Vendor Forum · NewTek February 9, 1994 10:57 PM
The Toaster is realy made for Video not for a computer, but a Toaster system, will read and write Pict2 files as well as ASCII, onto IBM formated 1.44 disks, so you could read them through Apple file exchange or equal. Forrest

Betty, The Toaster 1.0 software is not AmigaDos 2.0 compatable. Toaster 2.0 was the first that was 2.0 compatable. Fr advice on updating, if you could get a Toaster 2.0 update (no longer available), you could update the Toaster, without having to change anything, and could even go to Amiga…
#37397 TBC's & Editors Message #37737
From: Forrest McKinney Amiga Arts Forum · Videophile January 17, 1994 9:55 PM
John, I have used the Prime Image TBC/PCBs quite alot, for systems, as well as many others out there, for your 3/4" system I would recomend the Broadcast TBC/PCB with the comb filter, it makes a huge improvment in the noise of the 3/4" composite line. Forrest

From: Forrest McKinney Amiga User Forum · Hot News and Rumors November 27, 1993 11:21 AM
One reason you dont see many A/B Roll editors for prosummer decks, is because of frame accuracy. Most of the editing control companies I deal with claim that when you do A/B roll, people want frame accuracy (or at least +/- 2 frames on prosummer) this is why most of…

John, The main advantage that Control-L and Control-S connections have is that they are on more products. Almost all Sony camcorders and decks, as well as Cannon, and a few others use the control-L. But the gentleman who said Control-M (Panasonics 5 pin) is more used is problably right, in…

John, The adapters I beleave you are talking about are like the Sync Strainer by Pre Vue Tech. These devices do let you use a multiscan with your A4000/Toaster system. But all they do is allow you to run LW and modler in ther normal 640×400 interlaced modes at 15.75khz.…

I beleave what you saw was the GVP's EGS 110/24, high end graphics board. The program was most likely the new EGS paint. They also have a low end version of this board, coming out now, called EGS Spectrum 28/24, that is a Zoro II/III switchable card, and also comes…

I am using Tapeworm with the GVP 68040 Comobo with SCSI-II support, and the WangDAT 1300XL, and I get fast good transfer rates, but when I bring stuff back, the files do not work. After looking at them via a HEX read, I notice there is extra padding in front…
