All I heard that the upgrade will be $300.00 – plus the toaster is going up $900.00 in price. Bob Naffziger – Vivid Copy Inc.
I was told by Moonlighter software "AMI-Back" that they are coming out with the program that will blow everything away. The target is 60 days..lets see.
Thanks – it has turned into a much harder project than I first thought.

#Help with ANIM5?
Message #5498
How can I play (2) ANIM5 files at the same time, each reduced by 1/4 so that they can be shown side by side on the top half of the screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks – Bob Naffziger
John I offered someone my MicroWay FF for the price of the CBM 2320 – and they bought it. I feel that I made a good trade, but I would be happy with any of the de-interlacers. Sorry they called it a flicker fixer and not a video enchancer.

Roy I have helped a friend who owns an AMIGA store and a mail order business, with a SBPro – POS application. It runs the store – cash drawer & OCR. We might consider selling it if there is a market. We would have to work on some doc(s). I…

Gabe It will be bigger than a 3000! Bob Naffziger
I believe that Saxon is the name of the company and not the product, and that they are from the same area of Canada as Gold Disk. I was looking at the screen shots on a Sony Multi-sync using the FlickerFixer and I thought I was looking at a very…
There is a new program coming from a company in Canada called Saxon. I've seen scren shots, and its going to blow the door off of everything out there. I think it is going to cost $445 or in that range. Also I worked some the last 2 weeks with…
Don One of my Tech people did the work for me, but he took a piece of black plastic, put tape on the edges. He the covered the cartridge to block out the light. He then drilled a small hole in the corner of the toner well. He then removed the…
Lloyd I run using the Par: – a page of text takes about 40 sec(s) if the font has not been used since turning on the printer. Each additional takes about 8 to 10 sec(s). I have printed 400 page manuals in about 1 hour. Simple graphics such as boxes…
Lloyd I did some checking after you asked abount the toner on the NEC-LC890. I get about 3000 pages per toner refill. The PC Cartridge last about 7500 pages, but I have found that I can remove the excess toner, and it works like new. 18,000 pages on the current…
Lloyd The only small negative on the LC-980 is large black areas on being even. The 2nd negative is that it does not handle enevoples very well. As far as cost, speed and relilabilty – I give it a A+. I have a dealer who is selling them for $3050,…

#Postscript printing
Message #30187
The only real advantage of Postscript in a spreadsheet (IMHO) is if it saves 3D charts & graphs. I can load data from a spreadsheet now into CED or a wp program, make changes and then import into ProPage. A spreadsheet savinging files compatible with ProDraw is what we really…

Want to buy DBman cheap? I have the original disk & docs, hardly ever used. If y+ want some advice buy SuperBase Professional. Plus if we are going to ask for a port, why not get QuickSilver? Bob Naffziger
I have (3) DeskJets at work, and I had to set the Page length to 60 or 78 standard/legal. The printer has 1/2 inch margin at the top and bottom. I also get a blank page at end end of each print job, will look into when I have more…
Lee This started because I took a shot at Henry. I'am glad you like WP & think you are a very smart person to own an AMIGA. Rule #1 in buying systems is: find the very best for your needs, then ask what hardware it runs on. If you like…
I'am getting the blank page using Scribble! I had the problem of moving down a line with the old HPII Laser drivers. Make sure Preferences is set to 66 lines. Have not tried DTP Programs yet. Bob Naffziger
I'am glad it does what you want, but why not own a clone? Nothing could hurt the AMIGA more than ports of MSDOS software. If its my business I want the real thing. However if you want more than what MSDOS gives and you can get your work done on…
I 2nd the motion.
Maybe Henry went back to the minors (same place his can do no wrong WP should be).
I just bought 3 DeskJet(s) for the office, they work great except for: feeding an extra blank page at the end. Anyone have the same problem? I left all the settings at the factory settings. HP is also getting a letter for not putting the AMIGA in the docs, but…

I wanted you to compare the Hardware & Software PS/2 vs Amiga..ie ST comparison. The ST comparison was great, but I have more problems with people that think IBM invented everything. I would love your insights.
Ben could you do PS/2 & OS/too slow ?
