Don't Sleep! Ryan @IMI
Sorry, I've been off-line for a while. Try the patch and write me back. As far as finding the object currently being transformed…hmmm…hmmm… I haven't had a need for this but I will check the CDK to see if it would be easy. Glad to help. Ryan @IMI
Well, hopefully the price will drop for these items soon. I had one client that needed these capabilities and was able to purchase them. This doesn't happen often. Ryan @IMI
Sorry, been off-line for a while – BIG Projects due! Hope to see some of your work soon. Ryan @IMI
Sorry, been offline for a while. When using the waveform – keep everything around 90-95% – the images coming out of your computer are usually hotter than that already on tape. Ryan @IMI
Targa 2000, Got one, got an eisa, got a Maxtox max. If you have the means I highly recommend getting all the above. Ryan @IMI
Yea, I just got a Jeep – well a Heep but i can't say that because it'll break down and i would miss my freelance work, so i have a yeep. Guess it'll have to do! Work hard and make $ Ryan
Topo XYZ: Yes, it will take USGS data sets, but will also take any format in xyz coord. It reads in data much like a database program and outputs a file for the autolisp program. I Have found it to be very accurate. What kind of data or coord are…
Maybe a waveform and vectorscope would help in color determination. Ryan @ IMI
If you select all verticiea in the object and then weld the verticies this problem should go away. Be carefull if the verticies are really close it may attach to the wrong vert face. Ryan @IMI
There is aprogram called Topo XYZ which will give you xyz coord for any data set. It is included with an autolisp program that converts this to autocad mesh file – export as dxf into 3ds – this may be quicker if you have autocad. Ryan @ IMI
When rendering make sure your memory addresses do not conflict between vga, frame buffer, and the emm.386 memory manager if you have it loaded. I had the same problem with the targa + 64 memory address at d000 – i used this commad to exclude this from emm: device=c:\dos\emm386.exe x=d000-dfff…
You should see the matrox series. Especially the matrox max package – not cheap though and you need an EISA. Ryan IMI
Whoa, isn't it a small world. And about that road – hope you have a 4X4. Ryan (done the same)
I Guess you haven't spent too much time on Crystal Topaz? ryan
Brian, I just tried this command – "send /2 /Czb" This sets the tablet in binary mode. Seems to work. Thanks, Ryan
Brian, Yes, it's also in absolute mode – not relative. I am not loading the adi drivers either. -Ryan

I constantly have my tablet dropping out in 3DSR3. Turning the tablet off and back on returns the cursor, but makes for a difficult freehand drawing. Any info?
