Guess what, Paul. They did. 1008×800 is a pretty good resolution, neh? There's also a 1280×400 (I think). The 640x480x4 resolution is the VGA-type resolution, but make no mistake and do NOT buy a VGA-only monitor, be sure to buy a multisync type of monitor. The VGA will either not work at all, or will only permit a couple of the modes. One neat thing is the ability to switch these modes at will from the Workbench and have (properly written) programs adapt right along with it. So higher resolutions exist, although I do know that your statement about higher-still resolutions is correct. They need them, and *I* for one thiknk that they're on the way (the Lowell, Mass. — MIT project of a 24-bit color display board, for example <I **Hope** I have that one right>
