Chris, I have not tried to use NRCOMM with the xpr libraries, but I do use the xprquickb.library with BACKTALK regularly and without any problems. My only effort at using NRCOMM was from a friend's computer in another country, and I had problems even accessing CIS with it there. Something in his modem setup, I suspect, and I didn't want to play with his setup, since it worked fine for his needs there. Anyway, I don't think the problem is with the xpr library, because those are working well with other programs that I do know. Betty
