In todays market, at least in the U.S., the larger hard drives are
not much more money than a small one. (ie. in IDE drives an 850 meg
drive is $40 more than a 540 meg drive) SCSI drives have similar
pricing increments.
While we may save 20 meg on a basic system by not installing Windoze,
hard drive space is still a selling feature.
If a new Amiga came to market with less than a 250 meg drive, I'd
probably think twice before buying. After all, when all those
developers flock back to the Amiga, you are going to need the extra
space to hold all that new software.
