At last – a solution….
Thanks to a suggestion by NUMBER9 tech. support, I changed the line
DCI=On to DCI=Off in the windows system.ini
I additionally, loaded ver 1.1e ard
(File is under the Imagine LIbrary called VFW11e.exe)
That did it!
Now to all the other GPFs I am getting…….
