Yes, it's a simple little utility that I use ALL the time. Not just for
making material .IFLs but for 3d Studio's Video Post as well.
Perhaps I should have documented the usage in greater detail.
Another cool thing you can do with it is to make a series of images that
play forward or backward, easily.
Example, you have 100 frames of a digitized STARS. STAR0000 to STAR0100
Make 2 .IFL files; one by entering 'C:>MAKEIFL STAR1 star 0 100' and a
second one where you enter the numbers reversed 'C:>MAKEIFL STAR2 star 100
0.'
When I did this with a rotating star field in video post, I overlayed them
with ALPHA on. This gave me a 'star tornado' look to a scene I was working
on.
