Points on a spline?
Jeff, I don't know of a way to apply states to two different objects. You'll
have to go back to the traditional way of morphing objects in the Action
Editor. Tack your brush for the first object to its original shape, create a
default state; then mangle your object and create a second state. Save this
out. On your second object, tack the brush to its ending shape and create a
state. Then mangle it to some intermediate shape that is similar to the first
object's intermediate state.
Now begin the morph of object one in the first set of frames (say 1-30). At
frame 31, begin the morph of object two.
To smooth the transition between objects 1 and 2, I sometimes will add a
transparency map to simulate a cross dissolve and overlap the two objects by a
few frames.
