You guessed right; you're out of disk space. AutoCAD 386's virtual memory
systems can gobble disk space like crazy, especially with enormous drawings
like the ones you're talking about.
Like Dave said, 3 times the file size is a *very* rough rule of thumb, and
in this case it's obviously too low, since 15 x 3 = 45 MB and you've got 60
MB free. My guess is that a 150 MB drive would be big enough, but it might
be a good idea to go even larger if you can.
BTW, if this customer's AutoCAD dealer isn't willing to help him, then
Autodesk wants to know about it. AutoCAD dealers are required to provide
support (although they're allowed to charge for it). You can send a message
