When I switch between the 3d editor and mat editor my monitor
(nec) takes about 3 seconds to change modes, but since the mat-editor
is running on an ATI and the rest of 3DS runs on a Herc Chrome, I
figure it's pretty normal. I never considered it a problem, and with
r3's rendering available from the mat-editor, there's alot less
switching around compared to r2!
