Jim – Interesting to hear that about Superbase. I don't use that program, so
didn't know about that quirk. On the other hand, VIP Professional _does_ allow
me to override my Preferences settings as far as margins, spacing and pitch
goes. In fact, that was the only way I could get my old Star SG-10 to print in
Elite mode. Certainly nothing in the documentation would give many clues as to
why this should be, and I'm not a programmer, so don't pretend to understand
it. I'm just glad to works sometimes at least.
