Hi Greg, You will get a better response from other forum members if you post your question in section 1 where more people are likely to see it. Regarding DXF import to 3D Studio, it all depends on what entities you use and which module of 3D Studio you bring them into. 3D Polylines for example only come into the 3D Editor if they are closed or extruded. Phil Miller, my co-author on Inside 3D Studio, wrote a whole chapter on DXF import into 3D Studio. Repost your question in section one and he'll probably jump right in. Steven
