Sam, Those streaks you get are because of the PLANAR mapping. Only way to avoid them is to not have any bump mapping happening on the image in those areas. Either that or restrict the camera to defined supgroups. You can always use the DEBUMP.ITX texture to remove the bump-streaks. Ideally you would want cylindrical mapping…but as you know from previous threads it's not easy to create cylindrical image maps that follow the contours of an object….well, not _YET_ anyways. <evil grin> -GreG

I have a more even bump map now and hopefully (haven't tried it yet) it will work. The de*.itx come next. I'm gonna have some fun!<G> -Sam J. Bowling
