I sent a message to the demo team, and I was wondering if you deleted it, Or if it gets deleted weekly. I have some Ideas about Texture Mapping and was wondering if you're interested. I normally use Pascal but If I have to I can try to translate into C. It uses constant curves of U and V don't know if you have heard of them, got them from a book on graphics. I have some for a circle and a torus and am trying to make up one for a plane and mix it with a poly fill alogoritm to get the same effect as Doom, but the poly fill method i use is kinda slow, please write me back, it is very important.

Peter, > I sent a message to the demo team, and I was wondering if you deleted it, I'm not part of THE demo team –after reading messages from so many people asking to join, I decided to form an "unoffical" or "public" demo team. We not REALLY a team either. At least not yet. We just swap ideas, discuss code, and help each other out. > I have some Ideas about Texture Mapping and was wondering if you're > interested. Sounds interesting, please keep it in Pascal –I don't have a REAL C compiler. If you think it's "ready" you can upload it here, or if you want, you can e-mail it (WARNING: this may create several requests from others <g>). Have you seen Denthor's Pascal tutorials, or the PC-GPE? They both are very worthwhile (NOTE: PC-GPE contains Denthor's first 9 tutorials so you don't need to DL it twice). Do you have any demo ideas? I'm open to suggestions; like I said, we're nor a formal team, but that doesn't mean we can't work together. Jeff

Peter, Staff members deleting messages is a hanging offense in our forums. <grin> Seriously, messages may 'scroll' – be removed in favor of new messages – automatically after being online for anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks depending on how popular the forum. If the recipient's ID is in the message, and they didn't get it in the forum, it'll slide to their mail box as a reminder of where they were playing last. We strongly recommend that members do not delete messages to or from them unless necessary, as the public conversations here benefit all of us. Matt

Hi Peter, Your messages are number 315 and 316. Somehow they didn't make it to the Demo Team section (they were in Section 1). Do you want me to repost them here? Sorry you didn't get an answer. Gotta keep trying! hugs Lily
