>>Kept the beard. Hair is very short on the sides/back, and pretty short on top. Got tired of taking care of it, didn't think I'd like it with SCUBA mask and stuff, and always hate dealing with customs and immigration with it…
> It is a double lane with double everything 68020-based computer in fact. > Redundancy. Double 68020's? The real high reliable stuff is supposed to use different processors running independently developed programs. But I've never seen that myself. Gerald Bonnstetter, Bonnsoft, Ventura, IA, USA
Ahh thanks Betty, I changed the Current Dir in the Toolmanagerprefs to down: now. BTW: Again I had the problem that HandsOn was not willing to download the file, then I tried it again immediately and it worked. Seems that Handson needs to get waked up! cya Jochen Antesberger from…

Dale, Finally got my issue, and sure enough, there you are on page 31! CUT? How short? Still got the beard? 🙂 Asha @}–,–`–
>>All they said at the end was gloomy predictions, not what we need now. Yeah, I hated those. We showed 'em though, huh? Sounded as though "he" wanted everyone to jump ship at the end, didn't it? Hopefully the climb is uphill, but onward! J i m m y W…
Got a great idea. Get as much subscriber/address/price info as you can for each magazine, and put it into a text file, and upload it here. People would love it.
>>It might be a way to get rid of that game computer image. It would be easy to shed that image in the US… no one knows what the hell one is anymore! We can start fresh over here.
>>I miss the *banditio* Did he die before his time? There's not much in the way of rumors about C= anymore… this person likely has no more inside info than anyone else. I heard the Bandito is dormant until things start looking better… All they said at the end was…
Bart, >> However what I, personally, dislike very much was this: : >>But then, Microsoft, in his opinion, was targetted more for office, : Amiga rather for home market.
Asha, If you read the editorial, you'll see why no date, nor an Issue 3 – August either. I'm not sure when my present sub will end since they are skipping issues, but like you I'm waiting for some regularity before I renew. I guess I wasn't the only one…
Thanks for your interest in our products! MegaBall4 is indeed neat! We had the launch party yesterday. Besides the authors and their friends (and friends of IAM) we had a half dozen kids over to play the game. We some times had to tell the adults to let the kids…
Joachim, Thanks for the info! ANy info is welcome right now. However what I, personally, dislike very much was this: >>But then, Microsoft, in his opinion, was targetted more for office, Amiga rather for home market.
MB4 sounds neat! Can you describe Ami-FileSafe? I have no idea what it is. And does it come with all sold packages, or only when one buys direct from IAM? — Tom

Hmmm. I have 4 SIMM sockets, 64mb of RAM, and 2 SIMM sockets free. Now why does this guy need to make sure he has a PC with lots of SIMM sockets? Dale L. Larson, dale@iam.com el Presidente, IAM http://www.iam.com
And as an added bonus, in this issue you can even find a blurry picture of me before I got my hair cut (10 days ago), blowing a fuse in the Karoke machine as I belt out "Wild Thing." Dale L. Larson, dale@iam.com el Presidente, IAM http://www.iam.com
The product info is downloadable as iam.lha in the news&reviews section here on CIS. Dealer information depends on whether you have enough volume to justify buying direct — Software Hut has been good at distributing our products to smaller dealers with about the same or even better terms than they…
Actually, I left out a lot of places that we have distributors. The list would be longer than the announcements. Dale L. Larson, dale@iam.com el Presidente, IAM http://www.iam.com
#US Amiga Distributor
Message #217062
When you use HandsOn, you are using a much simpler interface than AutoPilot itself. So, if you download using HandsOn, and you don't specify a directory for your download, then it will go into whatever is your current directory at that time. When CIS asks, Name for your computer to…

but i understand he is pretty nice in his personal life. Go figure.
Gregory, Thanks for the additional address. I did just ge another issue of AmigaComputing today (says Issue 4, no date). It looks to be a bit more recent than the other ones I've gotten, and if it keeps coming every month like this, I may re-think my stand on subscribing.…

>Latest word here is Jan'96 on the '060's. Hope that's wrong. Hi Hank. Last word I got was Feb.96, and I just finished speaking to several hopefull 060 manufacturers. Seems as though the last 060 run still has flaws, and it will take another production run to work them out.…

I saw it after I posted. I posted the phone number for Amiga Action a us publication.
Dan,
Michael, Nope still going on… Just got their last issue a few days ago. It's a bit thin, but that should change when there's more to write about, or more money for more pages (don't know which is causing the "thinness"). Still good quality articles. I'm in the middle of…
Joe, Tried that one, with no joy…sigh… I've got a street address from someone else and another email address from still a third party. Hopefully I'll get some response from somewhere. If not, I certainaly won't subscribe nor will I advise others to either. Asha @}–,–`–
Jon, Thanks for the addresses. The internet address you gave me was the one I had and didn't get any response. I got aother one esp@acomp.demon.co.uk, which I just sent an email out to. If that doesn't work, I'll try snail mail. Asha @}–,–`–
Ian,
Hank, I've heard Feb or March, so Jan is better than that! ….sigh…. Asha @}–,–`–

I bet you can based upon what I knew about them in the past. Are you running Acad on it? Later, Jack
You're right, I was hoping to have the announcement ready, but I don't. Seems the doing is taking more time than the planning (hence the announcing). Dale L. Larson, dale@iam.com el Presidente, IAM http://www.iam.com
