Thol, normally d0,d1,a0,a1 are considered to be trash. I wouldn't trust their contents no matter what the docs say. Don't you wish you had a thousand registers? (grin) Khalid.

If you've got a Quantum hooked to your 2091, don't be alarmed by the quick low level format. My Quantum 80 does the same thing and the data IS still there afterwards. Try it again but then do a full DOS format per your controller's instructions. Happy computing!

Looks like you need Dave Heynies cachecard program. It will turn off the data cache every time the 2090A is accessed. And turn it back on when it's not. You can run at fullspeed on all other sys accesses. Note you will also need showcards for the config. data. John.

Well, an Omti 3527 RLL controller is less than $150. Mounting in a 2000 would be the only concern. Of course, adding a drive like a Quantum would be nice, but it would cost more. I don't know of any way to test your Agnus installation. Sorry. Craig
