Beep! That answer is incorrect, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Double speed drives are indeed faster than their single speed counterparts (at least SCSI ones are). You might have to be using a higher end adapter to see a big difference, but its definitely there. David

Driver software for the Magnavox CDD401 is available through the Philips/Magnavox Technical Support center. You can contact them at 310-217-1300. They also have a BBS (310532-6436), but I'm not sure whether the drivers are on there.

It doesn't make sense to run a sound card on a server! Since sound cards are designed for personal use, there would be no sound locally if it was on a server. There are no Novell drivers for the Soundblaster in any case.
