I believe that I have heard here that "Video for Windows" version x.xx will allow you to record Windows screens to .avi/etc. as you navigate applications. I think that this feature is included in an online version available _somewhere_ here online. Hopefully someone will come up with better information.
John, There are a number of CD video encoding formats available. Some are used for multi-media (distributed via computer) applications and some are made for watching on TV. What is your application for this CD-ROM? -John

I need to capture some Windows screen activity in a format that is either compatible with Quicktime for Windows or can be converted into such a format (.MOV or .AVI I gather) so I can play it back under Director. Any suggestions for a capture and/or conversion utility? Thanks.

What would be the procedure to copy a video on to a CD? It would be coming from Beta-SP and we would like to copy it over on to a CD? Methods and costguesstimates? thx jmb
BFYI … a reponse on BPFORUM yielded the file RGBMON.TXT for Lib 5 (PreVue) in AMIGAVENDOR forum. It many older monitors listed. Apparently at one time it was fairly common for 15kHz horizontal sync. The NEC 3D, for example, is on it. -jts

I don't have either of these monitors since I don't use the Magni XR-200 (the original product) or the GVP G-LOCK (the product which GVP bought from Magni). CTX makes OK monitors, but their laptops really stink. James Bell Jr. — Multimedia Contributor – CompuServe
