Well, yes. You could get the Phillips for $10,000, but then you also get three vendors to deal with instead of one (Phillips, whatever software company, whatever hard drive supplier). My past experience says it's better to support with a sole source than piece-mealing. Sixteen years in the computer industry…

Yes. There are things you need to be aware of. Nimbus' CD-ROMs can hold 730MB reliably assuming the reader can read out that far. For practicality and most compatibility across readers, I'd suggest a rounded 700MB size CD. Now that 700MB has been established, you'll have to divide it up…

No. The ISO9660 format allows your data to be cross-platfom compatible. However, if you want all your nifty custom mac icons, then it's a different story. ISO uses the generic mac icons. Nimbus (and most other mastering facilities) can do a "hybrid" disc that has HFS and ISO on the…

Once you have your data prepared, the next step is to get it pre-mastered. That means putting it in a ISO9660 CDROM format. Then a glass master needs to be made, that's called mastering. Once the master is produced, it's used to create copies from, called replication. Nimbus general pricing-…

Thank for the plug Bob, but a few corrections. We provide ROMware, not dataware, BIG difference there. Also, the premastering fee is a flat $250 and mastering is $1150 and that's really our "standard" pricing not the introductory. Once again, thanks. Ernie.
