Hey It Thanks for the prompt response. FYI .. I screwed around until I found the solution myself. Seems CannedDooDoo didn't like the cache and burst options in GVP's setcpu routine for the 3001. I changed the startup seq to a plain vanilla setcpu and now everything runs fine. GN

Don I found my problem and it is ME. I was using an obsolete bridgeboard setup disk. I cleared out the old bridgeboard routines and redid the setup with the new disk, and everything's OK now. Thanks for your help. I have met the enemy and it is me! gn
