From: Lily Owens Autodesk Multimedia Forum · Autodesk Animator December 29, 1994 2:21 PM
Hello…does anyone know a way to view FLC animations on a MAC? Is it possible? Can MACs view anything besides QT? Can QT viewers play FLC? Do you think the only solution is to convert animations to QT and then make all the PC users get QT players? thanks Lily/Dinosaur…

Hi Peter, Your messages are number 315 and 316. Somehow they didn't make it to the Demo Team section (they were in Section 1). Do you want me to repost them here? Sorry you didn't get an answer. Gotta keep trying! hugs Lily

>>>>>>>>>>>>>> While I didn't really think about clipping, that is something which affects every shape. Of course, if a triangle ever got that close in 3D, I think it would crash through the screen.

Hi Joel, You need MACzip to unzip files. Try using the MAC File Finder, GO MACFF, to locate it. Then you shouldn't have any trouble unzipping files. Becareful, tho, that you don't download programs for PCs. You won't have any trouble viewing text files, but programs wouldn't run correctly. Always…

Speaking on behalf of my fellow Demo Team members, we are not threatened by a little competition. In fact, we would REALLY like to make something good enough to go into international competition. This IS the main reason for the secret library. So our really great ideas can stay under…

Hi Geoffrey, I'll ask around and see if you guys can use this library to trade/exchange code in. I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed! *Lily* Graphics Forums staff

> Pretty good. But isn't that YOUR name? What is your name? I think "The Demo Team" is boring, too. Thanks. Well…we (The Demo Team) read this section. Although we don't reveal our secret projects (until we get them to some stage of completion) you are welcome to talk about…

Hi Fred, Like you, I upload things that I spend many hours working on. Usually I put a notice in the description that gives permission for the piece to be used (mostly clipart). If a person lets it eat at them that someone is using/stealing their work, then they shouldn't…

I am sorry for my delay in answering you. I am sure you can get on the Demo Team when they have new openings. Just watch this section and keep prompting us to make sure you're on the waiting list! That probably sounds like a lot of trouble, but it's…

Dear Fred, I'm sure they didn't mean to say "go away," they were just trying to be helpful. Everyone is a little confused from the forum changes but it will be worth it. I look forward to the day we're making demos here that can be compared to neighboring fli's,…

In the Graphics Support Forum, there is a file called "amiga.txt" that recommends the program "hamgif.arc" as a gif viewer for Amigas. Which is why people need the ARC.EXE program. What do you recommend to use for viewing GIFs on an Amiga? If you can help me with this, we…

The library description of the file "Arc.exe" references a file "arc23.doc" as being in the same data library. However, I cannot find it. Has it been removed for some reason? thank you, Lily Owens (Graphics Forums staff)

Hi Tom, I was just wondering if the libraries in this forum accept images from the general membership or only from the photographers that have their own sections? I think it would be neat if amateurs could test their wares here. Who knows, we might discover the next, great "Super-model"…
