#196792 #LenZFX 2 Problems Message #196947
From: Terry Miller Autodesk Multimedia Forum · IPAS Usage October 25, 1995 12:43 AM
Hi David, I sent in my registration for LenZFX 2.0 on the 21st. Am I in line for the upgrade? Speaking of upgrades, what ever happened to the World Builder upgrade that I thought I was going to see in September. I'm still sitting on a $1000 program that I…
Dave, I did, and I will call tomorrow for the 1.1. Thanks, Terry
Nik, Thanks a lot, I will give them a call tomorrow. Terry
Dave, This is *very* confusing. Depending on who you talk to AS will/will not/maybe a little run on NT. I have the update version, but not the Windows 95 version yet. Are you saying that I could install that one under NT? Can I also use the 95 (IF that…

Tom, Hey, one I know the answer to. Display\Tape\Show or Display\Tape\Find. You can then move the ends with the cursor or move the whole tape pressing and holding the control key while moving. I do everything in the architectural mode, so I get measurements in feet and inches. Terry

Robert, Nevermind on that version thing, I got it just using 3. Terry PS: Someone was hoping they wouldn't get to be known as the forum idiot a few weeks ago. Who ever you are, fear not, I still have a pretty good lock on that title.
#196708 Textures/architecture Message #196740
Robert, I also have Blocks and Materials, but ran into a little glitch. When I try to install the materials libraries it doesn't seem to want to except 4 as a version of 3DS. Did you have this same problem? Know how to fix it? Thanks, Terry
Umeadi, As others have said, Blocks and Materials is good. You may also be interested in Model Mongers, Interiors 1 FotoReal. It's has some pretty good hi-res meshes. Model Masters LLC, markets this one. They also have an online service that you can buy models by the piece for $5.…

Jason, As to your birthday gift, I may have an idea. If you have around $300 to play with, you may be closer to Metaballs *and* Bones Pro than you think. Bones Pro can be had for around $375 these days. There is an article in the premiere issue of…
#Max Wish Message #196308
From: Terry Miller Autodesk Multimedia Forum · Wishlist October 20, 1995 1:53 PM
Jonas, Here's a simple wish for MAX. When loading or merging meshes, materials etc., have the drive options go to "F" and not stop at "E". My setup has the 4 gig base drive divided 2/2 between DOS and NT. So the two CD drives are designated "E" and "F".…
#194401 Boolean //memory Message #194407

Ammanat, I paid a little less than $100 for the Texture Universe, but there are probably better CD's if architecture maps are your main concern. There is a similar tile in the WCT CD that comes with 3DS. Look for BLUTILE.TGA in the Architex directory. If you want to know…
