Don, I hear not herd. (Musician not cowboy). Don't know how that one got by except maybe the very late hour it was written. (spell checkers only go so far!). 🙂 The A.M.A.S. sampler module deals with NORMAL Amiga audio as it digitizes audio (A/D) and plays the sounds back…

Thanks Don I have the A.M.A.S Sampler/MIDI Interface from Microdeal and it uses both the Parallel port and the Serial port. I assume the Parallel port is used for the sampling and the Serial port for the MIDI interface. However, the sampler will not work (sample) without the serial port…

Can anyone give me the serial port pinouts for the A500/2000? Thanks, Roger
Sound Message #93055
Rick, I've herd that on the first A1000's there was a hardware problem concerning noise in sampled sounds and that a modification was published in A.C. I've also read that hardware modification is possible to disable the A1000's filters for sampling. Is this true? If so, could you tell me…

Thanks, Phil I don't know where Rick is either but I appreciate your reply as it will enable me to find the mod. that makes the filters switchable as on the A500/A2000. I didn't know that the filter mod was for output only, but it makes sense since the input…

Don, Thanks for the quick reply. You just saved me a bunch of time and probably more money than GO-64! cost ( $9.95 ). Off to heat up my soldering iron. Thanks again, Roger

Can someone upload the Parallel Connector Pin Assignments for the A-500/2000? I have GO-64! and a A-1000 and don't want to order a Parallel port conversion cable that they claim I need. ( gender changer not sufficient ). Thanks, Roger

No panic yet, just a tech question. I got the A-500/2000 serial port pin coKN from Don over in the tech forum. It states: Pin 9 is +12v Pin 10 is -12v On the A-1000 however, Pin 14 is – 5v Pin 21 is + 5v Pin 23 is +12v…
