Use SoundLab to delete any channels other than video (and maybe audio) (ie: the selection channel, mask channel, alpha channel). The other streams are conflicting during playback with the video channel.

When converting FLC to AVI with MSRLE compression, set the quality to 100%, turn off the Data Rate check. If your animation has many redundant frames, or small interframe changes, you should set the keyframes entry higher.

Just some notes: AAS24C.DRV is an outdated codec from our beta test versions. AASC.DRV replaces it, but still handles old .AVI's created with it. Indeo and Cinepak are both lossy even at their highest settings (100%). There ARE lossless formats on either platform: Mac- animation (rle), graphics (smc), raw, PC- Autodesk RLE (aasc 8 or 24 bit), Microsoft RLE (mrle 8 bit), uncompressed-full-frames (dib 8 or 24). but none yet in common. If you didn't change the compressor, you saved as Autodesk RLE, which the MCI Quicktime driver wouldn't understand. It doesn't use the codecs (COmpressor/DECompressor) available through Video for Windows, but uses the QuickTime for Windows codecs in \windows\system\qt*.qtc.
