ProWrite Printing Message #70317
From: Claudio Bacinello Amiga Vendor Forum · New Horizons December 14, 1993 2:20 PM
I have ProWrite 3.3.2 and am running AmigaDOS 1.3. Is there a way to improve the print quality of my output to a 24 pin dot matrix printer by using my existing Compugraphic fonts. I realize I can import my documents to Pro Page and get good output that way…

I saw a message in one of the other forums recently that said that ADPro will output to devices such as a Polaroid Palette. Is this correct? Claudio Bacinello Toronto, Canada

I tried the new version of SetCPU with the HEAD option and it works fine. This leads me to suspect I may have a bad memory chip where SetCPU would normally place the ROM image. Just my luck. Claudio Bacinello Toronto, Canada

I'm doing exactly that kind of work here in Toronto. There are a large number of software and hardware options available to you. If you can narrow down your requirements a little I can probably be of some assistance. Also, if you'd like to give me a call some time…

Your first step should be to contact Gold Disk and get them to send you the PPage 1.31 upgrade. There is no charge for this. I've been using this with postscript devices with no problem. Claudio Bacinello Toronto, Canada
AT Harddrives Message #109216
I've had a 30Meg Miniscribe hardcard on the bridge side of my Amiga for about two years now with no problems. It takes up 1.5 slots but you will be able to put a half size serial card next to it. Price was about $600. Canadian. Speed increase over an…
Weird Problems Message #109215
Cachecard may help. I'll look for it in the libraries. If you get a chance, a copy of your startup-sequence may also help. Thanks for your help. I hope this solves the problem Claudio Bacinello Toronto, Canada
Weird Problems Message #107884
I'm experiencing a couple of interesting problems with a new system we just got at work. First off, the configuration is: Amiga 2000, A2630, A2286 and A2091. Problem #1 – The real time clock sporadically runs fast!! At least twice as fast as it should. The system clock is fine.…
SetCPU Problem Message #103815
We just got an Amiga at work and I'm running into an annoying little problem. Basically, the system crashes with a GURU error if I try to run SetCPU with the FASTROM option. The configuration is A2000, A2630, A2091, A2286. I am running version 1.5 of SetCPU. BTW, only the…
Transport Controller Message #16323
From: Claudio Bacinello Amiga Vendor Forum · MicroIllusions April 18, 1990 9:43 PM
There are several high end consumer grade camcorders available with single frame recording capabilities. Would I be able to use Transport Controller to control a camcorder directly without going through an animation controller? If so are there specific models supported? The ones we are interested in are all SVHS.

I'm shopping around for a genlock device and have been pointed in the direction of the Scanlock product from Vidtech. Has anyone had any experience with this product?

#Synercom Monitor Message #69363
From: Claudio Bacinello AmigaTech Forum · Talk to the Trade October 11, 1989 9:57 PM
Has anyone ever heard of a colour monitor by a company called Synercom? We have some of these where I work and I was wondering if they could be made to work with a Flicker Fixer equipped Amiga.
#28467 DIGA! HELP Message #29461
From: Claudio Bacinello AmigaTech · Telecommunications January 8, 1989 3:03 PM
I have DIGA! and the easiest way to edit the contents of the buffer is to save it first either to RAM: or to disk using a specified filename. You can then edit it at your leisure.
