You insert your first sequence, in the a-roll and continue inserting the other sequences into that roll as well. After all images are inserted into the a-roll, accept, and then select the pass-thru TJ project and select FLC as your saver. Nothing special to do at all and for the…

What resolution did you out put the.avi as? If you dod something other than 320×240 or 160×120, chances are it will be unplayable – this is a cross between the compression codecs and media player problem that causes odd sized .avis to be unplayable. Chris Edgin ERI tech.

From: ERI Support Animation Vendor A Forum · Elastic Reality February 7, 1995 10:43 AM
While not commenting on the quality of the OS 😉 I can say that almost all the codecs will not work with image resolutions that are not multiples of VGA (160×120, 320×240) and none of them seem to work at all with res. like 640×480 but I have a feeling…

From: ERI Support Animation Vendor A Forum · Elastic Reality January 27, 1995 11:40 AM
What is the output resolution of your movie and what VFW compressor did you use? I mention this because most VFV Compression codecs will ony work w/ size divisible by 20 (like 320×240, 160×120, etc) most compressors will not work with sizes like 640×480 or 800×600 (basically too big) Chris…
From: ERI Support Animation Vendor A Forum · Elastic Reality January 27, 1995 11:30 AM
ER is a native NT app and is most definelt multi-threaded so it will run happily on multi-processor machines (and use them too!) The advanced features of SGI ER will trickle down as WinER matures. There are just too many capture/output boards to recommend just one. You might take a…

#3355 #Multi-morphs Message #3406
From: ERI Support Animation Vendor A Forum · Elastic Reality January 23, 1995 3:59 PM
The best way to achieve you morph goal is to treat each segment (3->4,4->5, etc) as individual morphs then you can like the resulting frames together with TransJammer using the PassThru project and have the sequence output as FLC. Chris Edgin ERI tech.

Basically, a 'plug-in' is a small program for other applications like Permeire that adds certain features. In our case a plug in for Razor or Premeire would allow access to ERI apps like TransJammer or ER itself. The Razor plugin snafu you might have heard is due to a misunderstanding…

The method you use to make the morph is really not that much different than morphing two still together. Its just a matter of adjusting your shapes every so often to make the match the motion occuring in your footage (this is what is known as 'tweening) and this makes…
