#3DS Max Message #185337
We are in the processes of writing a 3DS IPAS suite (a visual reality enhancement suite) which will start beta testing mid October and will (hopefully) hit the streets early 1996. I'm keen that we should have the same product suite available for 3DS MAX as soon as MAX is…

> I don't know where you got that info from but the product we sell > in the UK for L195 is most definately different to the $25 US version. Sorry Nick, but that's just not true. The product you've just described is _exactly_ the same as the product on…

It *is* the same product. $25 in the states, >$300 in the UK. Sigh…. P.
That's exactly what I meant. P.
I know what you mean – the whole thing seems rather …. errr…. ummm… "Corel" !!!! P.

Oh sure I can get it working in Win95's DOS mode, but I can't get it working under Windows itself, so no Razor, no MCIPAR, etc etc. Do DPS have a BBS somewhere ? Maybe there are updated drivers available. > Nothing like a new OS to screw up productivity…for…
#178553 #Win 95 , 3DS4, PAR Message #178648
It looks to me as though the PAR driver software is _totally_ incompatible with Win95. If you do ever find a way to get it working please let me know. Thanks, P.
Thanks for checking the price. We are 3DS dealers here in the UK and it's _embarrasing_ when people come to us for the flic toolkit and we have to tell them how much it costs! We've tried speaking to Autodesk UK, but they just want to hide behind the smokescreen…

You could try something like the DPS PAR card, the companion image capture card, and software such as Razor-Pro. This would allow you to do all of your edits, transitions, and other stuff using a very simple point and click environment. IMHO this is a very productive way to work,…
