Disk Manager as in the software you load in DOS to support a drive that your rom won't support? If so, that's the problem. NT can't see a Disk Manager translated partition.

Not wanting to rain on your parade, but I tried one last week. It dropped 1/4 of the frames it captured at 320×240. And that was on a system that can sustain 3.5 MBS disk transfer too. I wasn't impressed.

I have had absolutely 0 problems with my Sony EVO-9650 Hi8 deck. If you use good MP tapes and don't keep recording over and over on the same tape you won't have problems. I think Autodesk has some of the 9650's and report good results also.
FYI, the direct sales have no effect on your 5/66. You can't buy high end systems direct. And the direct sales group is treated just like another dealer. They have backorders too. The real problem is parts suppliers can't send us enough parts to build enough computers.
Ok, no wonder I never did it. I always want to see what I render .

True on the rendering. No Truecolor support for the VESA driver. ( grumble grumble ) The Vibrant or Panacea drivers do though and are very very good. I'll do the Racecard render another message asked about and let you know the results.
