I don't know the cause of or solution for your (client's) problem, but here's the info I have just in case it may trigger something. My GVP 030/40MHz has 4M soldered onboard and 3 SIMM sockets for 4M SIMMs. It is the only configuration mentioned in the manual for 030/40MHz.…
