John, "print a single character at a time" – you mean only one character per page?? Since I am running a 2500/2.04/HP LJIIIP/my driver, I haven't seen any problems. Wonder if CBM changed something in the hardware. Could it be a handshake timing problem? Are the towers the '040 or…

Al, The reason that you're having problems is that the -f, -n, -p200 are command options and not tooltypes that you can enter into an icon. My manual is buried too deeply at the moment to find, so I can't check for you to see if there are tooltypes that…

#73988-Amiga 1200 Released
Message #74103
As of today–October 21, 1992–Commodore has not RELEASED any information on the Amiga 1200 computer to dealers. That includes the machines existance, it's pricing, it's availability and/or it's specifications. Your dealer may be leaking developer information. If so, he should stop immediately. I really hate it when dealers leak information…

Dom, I think I see. You're saying the company bought directly from Commodore? In that case: I'm sure that they were told what they were buying and bought it anyway, not knowing any better. It was probably cheaper. I'm sure it wasn't kept a secret, but the problem is probably…

Dominick, Commodore doesn't sell Amigas, dealers do. Think about what you said, "Commodore has no business selling a discontinued model." Well, the reason it is discontinued is because Commodore isn't selling it. That's the definition of discontinued! Sounds like some dealer took advantage of your boss who didn't know better.…
