Is there a public domain or shareware program which convert AVI to quicktime. I have a AVIQT.SIT which is supposed to do it, but neither Stuffit, Expander, or CompactPro can uncompress the program.
Hi Andrew, I've checked, and in my \QTW\BIN directory there are a couple of 'em: QTMOVIE.VBX and QTPIC.VBX, theres also assembler, basic and c/c++ files aswell. Colin 😉

IMHO the Intel Smart Recoder is not smart at all and slow. Check out DC1tv from miro. It does real 30 fps at at least 320×240 (higher in PAL mode, dunno about NTSC mode, but the card can do both). And Premiere comes bundeled with it for only $200 extra.…
David, I'll pass word along about Premiere. We're testing the Intel Smart Video Recorder and the ATI VideoIT packages, and finding strengths and faults in each. Another program can't hurt.
Matt, I got Adobe Premiere which can play QT movies. Never tired the player only that is online on CIS somewhere. Premiere is a great tool and worth the money. I got it bundled with a video capture card. -David
