Velocity vs. Accl/Dccl

Oops! This is what happens when you try to explain something at 2 AM. When I talk about slope values, "above 1, the line becomes more and more horizontal" should read "…more and more VERTICAL".
Speaking of 3d drivers – what video card would you recommend? Currently, I'm using a #9 GXE64. I'm thinking about getting an MGA Impression + 4M, but am wondering as to the value gained from it considering its high price (> $600 mail order). Also, I'm concerned that in its…

sure, you can all see…. don't expect *too* much; what impressed me may not impress you. I'll upload it soon as I can.
#Object Faces
Message #11229
I'm having a few problems with faces! I'm trying to create an L-shaped couch in the detail editor by adding an axis, drawing lines to the shape I need and then extruding upwards to form the height. I then try to add faces to the top seating surface and can't…
>>no actual need for wings on a space ship. True, so I guess that means I should make my next spaceship a box…no wait a minute; that's been done ;^). That's why there is only one wing; no need to worry about atmospheric flight ('course, even w/2 wings, it'd only…
Yes, DXF is slow to parse: it's ASCII, and each and every point requires converting several lines of numbers. Almost any 3D program needs to perform some tedious post-processing of the points and faces, too.
Plug-ins can be keyframed, but you can not change parameters that you adjust in the plug-in itself (rather than the plugin interface in trueSpace). Basically, it boils down to what we have control over . .
Yes, we'd like to do that. We are in the process of hiring more people, so I think we can have someone participate regularly by the end of the month. Please bear with us as we are expanding. We have made some mistakes in the past about hiring people very…

Deluxe Paint Animation
Message #11211
Can anyone help me. I have just installed a Wacom ArtZ pad and have about a 1.5 inch square to work with in Deluxe Paint Animation. I have been through the manual and cannot find out how to adjust this. Apparently, there is no longer technical support for this product.…

This would be very esay with collision detection. Just drop the spheres into the container and that's it 🙂 Collision detection is not only for animation! Of course this is not available in Imagine (yet), but if many users suggest it Impulse might consider it. (I'm sure they already consider…

The original offer was $100 off of list, or $695. We have a new, improved offer which is $449 for trueSpace, the Razor video editor, and the trueClips CD. We would need to have proof of purchase of the Matrox board prior to having the order placed. For more information,…

Thanks for studying what I wrote! Another important point that I didn't have a chance to explain… Very few companies document their file format. Formats like Strata, Infini-D, Visual Reality, etc. are proprietary. If they did document their file formats, then there would be aghost of chance that companies like…

Mike: What you really need is software that will "wrap" the mouse from one edge to the opposite edge. What this means is if you draw a line from left to right, let's say, as the mouse goes past the right edge, the mouse cursor should wrap back to the…
