I have not seen G-Lock or Opal-Vision, but I can recommend the SuperGen as an excellent value. I just used it on a local station's news broadcast and it held up great. It is a very tried and true product. You may even find one on the used market. John
I would say the VXL30 it is as fast as any other '030 card at the same CPU speed. If you don't need a co-processor, the Adspeed is pretty good for the price and it will hold you till prices drop on '030 cards. John
A buddy of mine has a VXL30 on his A500 and has replaced the original '030 chip with a 50Mhz '030. After a long and frustrating wait for the RAM card to be available, he is pleased with his VXL30 purchase. What kind of info are you looking for? John

Sam, yes it is true that '040 boards have trouble with "self modifying" files but the work around is turn off Copy Back mode on the '040 Board. There will be a slight loss in speed but not that great. John
