The effect was not as noticable on my Sony 1440 and also the diamond shape of the logo doesn't look distorted. So maybe it is a lighting problem (side lighting casting a shadow on the lines – which are not really lines but boolean holes cut in the logo diamond.…
It is not as dramatic on my Sony 1440. But on a 9" Sony trinitron portable is really clses in. Don't know if that is because of size or not. Paul

My dealer just told me something interesting. Says Microsoft has purchases Soft Image and that work on a windows nt version has started, replacing work they had been doing on the mac. Says early reports were this would be priced around $5,000. ANyone else heard this?
