Are you running ACAD under Windows? 3DS is quite processor & memory intensive, so I don't think it's in your best interest to even attempt to play music on your CD-ROM drive while running 3DS…it will just slow you down! -scott

I bought one yesterday & I'm very pleased with it. Here's the scoop: IDEK Visionmaster 17"FST, .26mm dot pitch, 1280×1024 res @ 80Hz, color matching, auto scan, anti-glare, "green", 3yrs/3yrs incl. all for $799! Sure, there are better monitors, but for the money you really can't beat it.

I have an Indeo. It's O.K. for multimedia & was the hot item when it hit the market about a year or so ago, as it was the first consumer video card that could compress on the fly & play back 30 fps (but get out your magnifying glass, folks!)…

Thanks for confirming my thoughts about the IDEK. It seems to be the best value in a 17" monitor for under $1000.00, and comparable (favorably) to those selling in the $1,500 range, yet it retails for 1/2 that price… I plan to purchase one tomorrow!

Dear Visitor: The simpliest way to do this would be to create a script with Autodesk Animation Player for Windows, where you can add .WAV or MIDI files to your .FLC. For more versatility (and accuracy) try Adobe Premier for Windows. -scott lawrence P.S.- Join the forum!
