I read how to upgrade SupeBase pro…. I bought it long time ago from the Italian supporter. There is not a registration card inside the box…. Can I upgrade ??? Mine is SuperBase Pro III. Ciao 🙂

You are not right about GVP … I got a GVP II in My A 4000 with 8 x 1 Mb SIMM and all work flawlessy. P.S. The revision number MUST BE 4.15 . Ciao MB-)

wich version of 68040.library do you have ??? Unless you have a version > 37.10 the data transfer DMA between RAM and HD can be seriously bad. Look for a SetPatch 40.2 and 68040.library 37.30 (you can find it in the set040 archive from nick wilson.

I hope no…. I know that Progressive Peripherals can go with soft kickstart… I think that if a board can go with a FASTROM (kickstart ROM loaded on RAM) can go with soft kick too…. or not ???? :-)) Ciao MB-)

I hope so, I have experienced the dead of six (six!) cartridge and Syquest Europe has only said: 1) Keep the cartridge in the envelope 2)… and everything was written in the box. I hope that the dead of the cartridges is due to the drives…. Thanx MB-)

Now I have a GVP Impact II controller in My A 4000 and goes fast than in the A2000 (about 800/900 Kbytes/sec). I am moderately satisfied. However here in Italy GVP is the only factory that offer a good phone service. Ciao MB-)

Have you received my registration for CED and ADPRO from Mangazone (Italy) ?? What can I do to upgrade CED and ADPRO ?? I must send you the original packs ?? Only the disks ?? Only the money :-)) ??
Here in Italy somebody says to have resolved the slow A2091 problem- Disabling autoboot and putting the scsi.device in the expansion drawer together with his icon. It seems to have resolved every proble. I haven't tried becouse i got a GVP wich is workning flawlessy at 700/900 Kbytes/sec. Ciao MB-)

I have tried PARnet and used for some time, but I want to installa aBBS on one Amiga and share the resources between this Amiga and another Amiga in the same desk. I have the boubt that PARnet is not so efficient as I need. Thanx MB-)

I buyed CED and ADpro from Mangazone advanced service here in Italy, but in the package there is not the registration card. After contacted he says that I must register to mangazone and he register the product to you. Is good ?? Ciao MB-)
A laser printer on a SCSI port ?? Which printer ? Which driver ? CAn I connect a SCSI scanner on a SCSI port ? With wich driver ?
The fix is on the Hardware problem area and is called A4092P.lha

An Italian have written a program for this problem. It is called A4091patch. With this patch the drive go to 600/650kbytes/sec. Is not a Ferrari but is a good spped.

Today, trying to recover some R/W error on my Syquest I make a Verify Data on Drive with my HDToolbox (I got a A3000T). The disc scan was interrupted by a generic error message. After this I am unable to reuse the cartridge. The green light on Syquest goes flashing…
