Dave: Problem with that is you limit your memory to being used as EXPanded, whereas lots of applications want to see EXTended. The best solution, naturally, is to use QEMM, but short of that *I* recommend leaving out EMM386 entirely. Larry
Mark: I had problems with acad when using the ,UMB switch. Never did get around to finding out why, but I didn't need it. The better solution is to use QEMM, but DOS's Himem.sys will do in a pinch. Larry

No – you're correct. Anyone willing can pass on the Windows player to anyone else, so long as the Autodesk copyright notice and such stay attached and all the necessary files are supplied and there is no fee.
