NoteBook demo
Message #31997
I downloaded the demo of notebook. And I have seen a few problems with it. Enforcer hits of a read word at location zero at startup and shutdown. When I select the scissor gadget I get memory alterations at location '40'x. At certain times, the demo will not start, the…
I have only used 2.0 for the past year, so I can't answer you about 1.3. Running 2.04, a3000.
Prowrite
Message #31108
ProWrite has a problem with the pathhandler (TAO) device of WShell. Both 3.1.1, and the new 3.2.1 have the problem. Whenever this device is selected in the open file requester, ProWrite crashes with an 80000004 exception. It is much easier to avoid the problem with 3.2.1, (don't select tao), than…
Proper Grammar Upgrade
Message #28762
I read in Amazing Computing that a upgrade to Proper Grammar is available. And that the cost for the upgrade is $1.00 if I send in the disk, else it is $2.00. Is this information correct? Mark Jacobs \exit
Yes, You should run setpatch on all machines. If you don't have the 1.3.2 upgrade yet, get it. There is a new setpatch there.
I tried it on my machine last night. No problem. I am running crossdos v4 and run with faccii and forfacc all the time. The program (forfacc) only checks for drives df0-df3, so I can't see it being effected by di0-di3 at all. If you can give me your exact…

#New Deskjet 500
Message #789
HP is offering DJ and DJ+ owners an upgrade path to the new DJ500. Cost is $175 for DJ+ and $225 for DJ. DJ500 has more/new built in fonts and a non-smeer ink. This ink will be available for all DJ at a later date. Call HP for full details.
The upgrade from DJ to DJ500 is a board swap and a new motor. BTW the price is $225 not $200, sorry for the mistake. I think the DJ500 has more builtin fonts and a non-smear ink. If you call HP they will have all the details and method to…

#A3000 Memory loss
Message #118754
My a3000 died this morning, after I turned it off, waited a few seconds and turned it back on, it will no longer boot. The kickstart menu displays without pressing both mouse buttons with the harddisk option ghosted over. When I select boot 2.0/floppy, a message that says "Error can't…
MATH LIBRARIES

It is built into kickstart.
I have 1.8 and it runs under 2.0, so I assume that 2.0 will run also. I have to believe that it will run under 1.3 also because the 1.3 market will be out there for a long time to come.
#Ced and ADOS 2.0
Message #17862
Do you have any word when a update for CED will be available for ADOS 2.0? I noticed a few problems, most of which are minor, the most anoying thing is that CED needs the RUN command in C: for dos/arexx support. BTW I am using cedpro 2.11. If you…
I ordered and received my A3000 from CBM also, and did not receive a coupon also. If I send you a copy of my invoice, will you send me it too. Thanks.
And I'me sure you have more important things to do to try and fix it. Well, I guess I have to use rad: Bye.
Hi Perry. Does VD0: fail because of the A3000 or 2.0? I will be getting a A3000 rsn (Will be giving my a1000 and your 8M/2 board to my father-in-law) and would hate to have to give up a old friend. Mark Jacobs
#New and desperate!

The Commodore Include files for Assembler and C are copywrited and cannot be uploaded. A copy of the 1.3 include files can be ordered from Commodore. The cost is $20.00 for a four disk set which has the include files as well as other programming information.
#DIGA & CIS-B
Message #97182
I have tried everything, I can't get diga to work with cis-b. I tell cis the file name, the next thing I see is garbage on my screen. It worked with online! v2. Is there anyone using DIGA w/cis-b? I would love to hear your methods.
Thank you, I thought so. I also asked on bix, and one of the people there said they use a CMOS 68000 in their amiga. 68HC000L10 or L12. Any comments?
