Yes, but the Toaster was created by NewTek, a company that had a proven track record for producing quality Amiga hardware and software before the Toaster was ever released. Utilities Unlimited has a poor track record which is why people have serious doubts about the Emplant emulator.

Both the JLink'ed and the MakeAB drives work fine with MS-DOS 5.0. They both work fine with Windows 3.0 also. I've had both MS-DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.0 w/Multimedia Extensions running on my ATBB/ATOP setup for several months now. I haven't run into any compatibility problems with DOS 5.0.
