As there's been a fair amount of interest in the Exabyte, I thought I'd mention that its capacity and speed have been increased, and contrary to discussions earlier in the year it is a true DAT machine. The only 8mm DAT tape drive btw. And it runs around two grand…

I really haven't a clue Tom but two thoughts come to mind, check that your SCSI drive(s) are properly terminated and if there's any facility to reformat the hard-drives, I try that as well… next step would be to see if you have any base addressing problems for the SCSI……

There's always has been two issues, as far as our discussion on this subject goes… your perception of Ani Studio and the review. The review was the topic… It is straight and it is factual. The rating I'll grant you was questionable. I think the review was positive and insightful……
Ed, Its a complex issue how to cover the flaws in a product, and you're right, the PAR is a good example, because its not perfect but it does the job and for most people quite well… I really don't know what to say other than that. The legal issues…

I wouldn't generally recommend the approach you've taken, because you certainly have to know what your doing… but obviously you've got the situation wired and can maximize all your resources at a moments notice… Unlike some people you're primed for success… for alot of people when it comes they're not…
