Byrt, You may have to 'degauss' the monitor. Exposing the monitor to strong magnetic fields, or changing the monitors location can cause this effect. It's 2 capacitors…#c910 and c911 and they're on the motherboard by the keyboard connector (the motherboard has their numbers screened on it). You will have to remove the Powersupply/Drive Bay bridge to get to them. Don ———————————————————— Just remove the two capacitors from the board.

Pat, MNP = MICROCOM NETWORKING PROTOCAL It is a linking system between like modems, with several classes of operation. I have a MICOM 2400 which uses class 3 & 4, that do error correction. Other modems with class 5 will do data compression. –Claude

Chris, There were/are no docs with 'noreq', just the one that I thru together. Run with no argument = disable requesters, run with any argument = enable requesters. –Claude
Chris, Using DNET seems to be the same as running from the CLI, so the system takes care of all. I found 'noreq' on ucbvax.berkeley this morning, so I u/l'ed it to CIS LIB 1. I stuck a minimal note to it. 🙂 (noreq.arc) –Claude
