Dan, What do you consider a reasonable price? I have both Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back with original manuals I'm willing to sell! Call me or E-mail me. My MILNET address is padgett%doim6@monmouth-emh3.army.mil Or my phone number is: 908-532-8563 (office), 908-935-9754 (home)! Rodger
Thanks, But how about the Series II SCSI adapter? Any chance GVP can or will repair it if it needs? Rodger
Nope, no changes other than having "Global Upgrades" in New York repair my Moldy, broken Ami500. It came back 'repaired' but when I connected everything back up I found my Phoenix Power Supply had been the culprit which trashed it in the first place. DC voltages weren't correct (no +5VDC,…
No blinking occurs. I did just get the machine back from "Global Upgrades" in New York. Maybe they didn't reconnect my Baseboard. I'll check. Thanks! Rodger
Thanks Steve, Since they are socketed and the problem occurred when I plugged in a bad power supply, think I'll try the chip closest to the power supply. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky. Rodger
#GVP Series II for A500!
Message #88481
Help, I've a problem with my Series II hard drive for my Amiga 500. I had iplugged into a Phoenix Power Supply which went bad. Now the HD won't work. I checked the voltages on the power supply (unloaded) and they fluctuate. I check them on the connector on the…

2- 25Mhz A3000s for sale
Message #147486
Mattew, Im interested in the A300 with the 200 Meg HD! Is it still available? Rodger
The problem may be the lead time for a issue to get printed! Normally a three month cycle. Bet we see something in July! Rodger
Ernest, Jack's board is back online! the new number in New York is: 914-934-5922. Rodger
Ron, The latest number I have for Jack's BBS is 1-914-934-5922. However, since I returned from a six week trip to Germany I've called and had the phone ring with no answer. Rodger
Chris, Thanks! You gotta get AutoPilot 1.72! Rodger
Thanks Neil! I took the chance and removed (clipped) the wire. I thought I remembered the instructions saying that was what was needed to make it work on a Rev. 6 Motherboard! It worked. Sometimes you just have to say, "What the F***!" Rodger
Tanks Vree, that was the ticket! Rodger
Thanks Wayne. Removing it worked. Rodger
#Upgrade to WB2.0
Message #144272
I need to know if when Upgrading my Rev 6 Motherboard that I just got for my 2.04 Rom, I need to remove the wire on it? Please help, someone. My original upgrade kit is in Oklahoma and I am in New Jersey! Rodger
I have a 52 Meg Quantum I'd be willing to sell for $150.00. No SCSI card, I upgraded to a 245 meg on my GVP SII. Rodger
Thanks Wayne, I fixed the problem by moving the KD_Freq.library out of the LIBS: directory then back in again. That caused the Personal Information screen to re-appear and allowed me to update the registration information. All is well now. Rodger
#Maxtor Drive on a SII+
Message #69648
I just upgraded my HD from a Quantum 52 Meg to a Maxtor 245Meg. I first had a problem when I warm booted. Fixed that by using Experprep and change the boot priority to 5 (from -10). Only now something is still a little squirilly. I use the KD_freq and…
Ami500 Acting Strange!
Message #122938
To any Amiga Hardware Hacker, I have an amiga 500 that is acting strange. I've checked it and the hard drive for virus's so all I can think that is left is the hardware. I suspect one of the CIA chips. but haven't been able to confirm it. Most of…
Check out the SupraTurb0 28. It is very inexpensive and gives you up to 28 Mhz. Doesn't use 32 Bit Ram though! For that you have to get a 030 or faster accellerator ($$$). Rodger
Dave, Why not just rename all files with "4" in them to remove the "4"! Rodger
Thanks, I've been out of the country for the past three weeks! Rodger
Sorry!
Message #117927
Jack, I just got "Terminus" in the mail. Sorry I bothered you! Rodger
#Registered Version?
Message #117731
Jack, Don't want to be a pest about Terminus, but I sent in my JRComm to Terminus registration almost 2 months ago. Asked about it about a month ago and you told me you were working out some bugs and would get the registered version out ASAP. You did cash…
I figured that was the case. I've been out of the country and was out of touch! Thanks for the rapid reply! Rodger
#Registered Version?
Message #112805
Jack, I ordered the JRCOMM registered users upgrade to Terminus about a month ago. I see where my check was cashed 18 Aug. I have yet to receive my registered version. Are you waiting to complete 2.0B or has my Post Office misdirected my mail again? Looking forward to getting…
I suspect as much also. Would be nice if we could though!
I wasn't trying to be cute! Glad something came of this idea though. Entertainment at least! Rodger
The point is to be able to store a file in the personal file area and (hopefully) download it at a later time for less cost! If it's not feasable, or downloading from a personal file area costs money (re: Online time) then there is no point in doing it.…
#Xfer Files from Lib!
Message #35122
Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer a file from the libraries in any particular Forum to CIS File storage area (if you are a Executive CIS user?) Thanks, Rodger (P.S.- If so, can it be done from AutoPilot?)
Bad Drivers II
Message #57952
I'm sending my "new" Drivers disk back. I got it in and tried to put the files I was missing on my hard drive and I got errors on the disk. I examined it with AmiBack tools and found there were hard errors on the disk. Rodger
Thanks Michael, By the way! Since I just bought PS2.2 am I entitled to version 3.0 when it comes out? When is that going to be (if you can tell me?) Thanks again, Rodger
Thanks Gary! I've looked at the 1-800 number, but I hesitate using it because it says it's for sales! Rodger
#Bad Drivers Disk!
Message #57332
I just bought PageStreem 2.2. I mailed my registratin form today (5-20-93). I've tried to install PS2.2 to my Hard drive and everything except the Drivers disk installs. I get multiple disk errors on the drivers disk. The files I get errors on are: Degas.Export and .info DegasCExport and .info…
I'm using the ST28 on my A500 with Baseboard w/4 megs memory and the B-Pal option, a GVP SII HD+ with 4 Megs memory, WB2.1 and the 2.04 ROM. I've got a total of 8.5 megs memory. The only difficulty I had when I first got it was caused by…
So far (as a Beta Tester for the ST28) the only incompatability I've had is between the ST28 and the GVP FaastRom 3.14 I had. I got the Rom upgrade kit from GVP that had the 4.34 Rom and I've not had a single difficulty since. 28.4 MHz ain't supersonic…
Which accelerator?
Message #98555
I've been Beta Testing the SupraTurbo 28. I have only used it on the Amiga 500, but the two systems are pretty much the same. I'd get the dealer to quote a speed (even demonstrate it.) Using SYSINFO to check the speed I get 28.4 MHZ. Four times faster (hardly)…
No external power supply. It is powered off the Amiga BUS!
First you need to make sure your 2000 wasn't made in Germany. Check the motherboard. If it is a 4 layer board, don't buy the ST28. If it is a two layer board you're ok. Next the ST28 plugs inot the 86-pin CPU slot next to the existing 68000 CPU.…
SupraTurbo 28
Message #92731
SupraTurbo 28 – An Economical way to Speed Things Up! I've been a Beta Tester for a device called the SupraTurbo 28, from Supra Corp of Albany Oregon. Most well informed or well read Amigoids know about it already. Amiga World has run the add for it the past several…
I'm interested in the PC286. Is it still available? Rodger
I'm a Beta tester for it. Using it on my Amiga 500. At first they had problems with the 28 and GVP HD's. They've about gotten that ironed out. I'm told they will release it for sale very soon now. I'm working on a review of it for posting here.…
Next time you communicate with Olaf, could you ask him if he got the package I sent him before Christmas. I've never heard from him (not even a letter) since I sent it. It was my contribution for TERM! Thanks, Rodger

Bill, You need to get 2.5e. It is more bug free than any previous version. I use it regularly now. No strange crashes when you click in it's window and other such problems. Let me know if you can't find it and we'll find away to get it to you.…
You know, the second episode improved a bit. Of course, any improvement was possible considering the first episode was about as bad as TV gets! Rodger
