mike, i read your message to steve…yes, the 0 in register 111 cancels spoofing of all protocols. that means that the connection is made with the telebit proprietary pep mode, which then gets overlaid with uucp g protocol. it slows down to about 1200-3000 bps, because of duplication of effort.…

Vic, I tried your suggestion, to no avail. The TO: was blank, the UserID contained "Glenn", the name from the address book, and subject contained the two word description. WHAP! told me that "Glenn" was an illegal UserID, and I couldn't progress from there. Andrew
