I didn't catch the start of this thread but in the Release 3 Docs, 9-63 and 9-64 outline situations where cubic and flat mirror reflection maps fail. With this info you should be able to adjust your scene and objects appropriately.

Why do you believe that the flic files you're analyzing do not follow the published conventions? Have you read the article written by Jim Kent, the author of the flic file format, in Dr. Dobb's Journal, March 1993. Not only does he completely describe the format but has uploaded complete…

The ANIPLAY.dll in its current form can be positioned and sized but it creates its own window. Some developers have been successful in converting flic files to the AVI format and then using MCI to get more control of the graphics.
Does Speedstar supply you with Dos drivers and seperate Windows drivers? Do they have a generic VGA driver for windows? Try setting up your windows display in the most vanilla configuration. If the player install works, keep bumping up your resolution until you are satisfied.

Hello Radoslaw, One thing you can try is to have your system's graphics run under VESA.
