Best Digitizer for 3DS?

Hello I like the Wacom Art Pad which is really cheap and has more sensitivity levels than the ArtZ. I like the small active area for ease of painting in Painter and photoshop. I use a mouse in 3ds. I made the decision on pads at Siggraph 2 years ago…

Good, Im glad its working out. the information on calibration of the monitor will work whatever files you use. The info in CMYK will be useful if you ever use another printing device. I just let the long renders go overnight.

Welcome to the wonderful world of printing and monitor calibration(G). If what you believe is true and there is an automatic way to guarentee exact results in printing then one would feel free to order 10,000 copies of something without proofs. No one in their right mind would do this;…
Daniel You might try adjusting the 3ds file output gamma settings in the INFO menu. Ed
Im going to copy those questions down and use them to harrass anyone purporting to sell modeling software (G) After reading the conversation you are having with David on AMAPI, I reread excerpts.txt on R3d with your questions in mind. Im not totally conversant (understatment ) with all the terms…

#Gpi and Par
Message #173226
Im beginning to do animations that are long enough to require frame accurate laying off to tape of par segments. I recall that some forum folk were using the GPI trigger to control the par. Any details on how this is accomplished would be appreciated. Ed
Hello Peter, you can disregard a previous message if you get it, I meant to delete it.
Hello Alec I teach various drawing classes, design classes, Art History, and animation. We do traditinal animation and my students now work at Disney, Hanna Barbara, Turner etc. We (Allan Hancock College ) cant afford a room full of 3ds seats or I would be teaching computer animation. The more…

thanks for the good ideas on meshpaint Ed
well Ive been reading messages that seem to indicate that there is a lot of on line help material that is not found in the manual. I find it very much easier to work with a printed material rather than interupting the flow of what Im doing in the program…
Ive got the same kind of files and I noticed them after I began using Lantastic. I guess thats not it though. Ed
